For a chef it a go to place to grab those specialty items such as bee pollen, pearl onions, and colorful baby potatoes. There is so many variety of fruits and vegetables to chooses from. They also have a large selection of meat and cheeses. Gluten-free no worries there are food options available. Don’t feel like cooking or don’t know how to cook, grab something from their deli and prepared food section.
One of the main highlights is the bakery. This is due to the popular apple cider donuts, pies, and other seasonal treats offered. The friendly staff even puts out samples to make your buying decision much easier. I was convinced by my friend to try a pie sample. Crust nice and light, fruits on the inside not heavily sweet which was fairly different from my expectation. It took me a while to realize it was Strawberry Rhubarb Pie which from me receives ⭐⭐⭐⭐.
I appreciate how Delicious Orchards demonstrates the relationship between food and place making it worth visiting. Seasonal foods such as apples, cider, pies, and fresh produce help tell the story of New Jersey agriculture while creating traditions that bring families and food lovers together. It is a destination where shopping, eating, and experiencing food culture joins.
