Chocolate Chip Cookies

Chocolate Chip cookies that is thick, soft and airy. Definitely a dessert that you can snack on with your favorite milk.

Ingredients
  

  • 4 Tbsp unsalted butter, softened
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large whole eggs
  • ½ tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 1 ½ tsp unbleached all-purpose flour
  • ½ tsp natural sea salt
  • 1 ¼ tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • ½ c. semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (177°C). Line a sheet pan with parchment paper, set aside.
  • In a medium size bowl, add unbleached all-purpose flour, baking soda, baking powder, and natural sea salt, mix well set aside.
  • In the bowl of a mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, add unsalted butter and sugar. Cream ingredients at medium speed (2) for 1 minutes.
  • As the mixer continues add one egg at a time (5 seconds in between) to fully incorporate.
  • Then add the vanilla extract. Stop scrape down sides.
  • Add the flour to egg mixture, mix until fully incorporated about 2 minutes.
  • Stop to scrape down sides, then add half the chocolate chips to batter, mix.
  • Scoop dough from bowl, drop it 1-inch apart on sheet pan that was set aside in Step 1.
  • Use the remaining chocolate chips and stick them on top of raw dough balls. Place sheet pan into oven and bake for 15 minutes, they’ll be slightly golden brown on top.
  • Turn off oven, remove sheet pan with cookies, and allow to cool for 5 minutes before enjoying.
